Belmayne, the North Derbyshire firm of Financial Planners, has recruited Chartered Financial Planner Alex Napier to develop the firm’s reach into Sheffield.

Mr Napier joins Dronfield-based Belmayne from Forest Oak Financial Planning where he spent five years.

He has experience in property and wills and trusts matters, and specialises in handling complex client situations, particularly those that may require the support of other experts.

Mr Napier began his career in financial services in 2010 and has been providing advice for more than a decade.

He said: “Belmayne’s reputation for client care was a real draw. As the firm is directly authorised, we can honestly say the advice we provide is independent, allowing me to truly sit on the same side of the table as clients.”

Belmayne celebrated its 20th anniversary last year and now has more than a dozen Financial Planners on its books.

It added three Financial Planners in 2024 including former teacher and accountant Nick Pike in November.

In March 2024 retirement planning specialist Paul Goddard joined the firm.

In January it was awarded CISI Chartered Firm status by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
