Global platform engine FNZ has launched a generative AI tool that it has embedded into its wealth management platform.
Known as FNZ Advisor AI, the firm claims it should help advisers enhance productivity, deliver a more personalised advice and serve more clients at scale.
FNZ said the AI addition should generate real-time insights based on client and portfolio data to allow advisers to proactively identify opportunities, flag risks and tailor their recommendations.
It said the new tool automates the client meeting lifecycle, meaning advisers can prepare using personalised insights, access relevant content, and transcribe and analyse discussions afterwards. It will also highlight key points that require follow-up and guide advisers on the most relevant next conversations to have with each client.
It said the technology is underpinned by a dedicated AI architecture, FNZ’s AI governance framework, and close alignment with regulators to ensure the solution meets industry standards.
Roman Regelman, FNZ group president, said: “We know advisers globally are already experimenting with and relying on generative AI tools, but they are looking for integrated solutions to effectively and safely support them and their clients.”
He said the company has seen strong interest across its client base about the new tool.
The launch follows last month's announcement of a five-year global strategic partnership between FNZ and Microsoft, aimed at accelerating digital transformation in the wealth management industry and enhancing FNZ’s AI, automation and cloud capabilities worldwide.
FNZ claims to have more than 650 financial institution partners, more than 26m end investors and close to $2trn (£1.48trn) in assets on its platform.
The business was founded in New Zealand in 2003 and now has has more than 7,000 employees globally based in more than 30 locations across the world. It is backed by large institutional shareholders, including Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (La Caisse), Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), Generation Investment Management and Motive Partners.
