Fintech firms Iress and Moneyinfo have teamed up to integrate their technology propositions for financial advisers.

The firms have developed a series of integrations between Iress’ Xplan and Moneyinfo, with the Iress Partnership programme providing enhanced access to Xplan’s APIs.

Xplan is currently used by 450 financial advice firms in the UK while Moneyinfo provides client portals for financial advisers and wealth managers. It supports over 190 firms in the UK.

The fintechs say that the new collaboration will deliver smoother integration.

The first phase of the integration, launched today, includes integrated digital fact-finding, streamlined client onboarding and a richer two-way flow of information and documents.

Full digital fact-finding capabilities, including custom field mapping, will follow later this year.

The firms’ say that the integration offers enhanced data accuracy to reduce manual input errors, strengthened reporting and compliance and improved reliability for decision-making, as well as an improved user experience for advisers and clients.
