London at Christmas
A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the team at Financial Planning Today to all our readers, advertisers and supporters.
We hope you have a wonderful break from all the frenzied financial noise of the year and enjoy plenty of time off.
We're taking a short festive break now until Monday 5 January when our usual news service will return.
Over the festive break we'll bring you some useful recaps of the year via our newsletters, including our 'Top 20 Most Read News Stories of 2025' and our 'Top 10 Unexpected Stories' - so watch out for those.
Sign up now for our newsletters if you are not already registered (click on a couple of news stories on the site to see the pop up registration box). If any major stories break we'll cover those and you can still view our coverage 24/7 over the Christmas period as usual.
We haven't sent Christmas cards this year and have instead used the money saved and a further donation to help fund the building of a local primary school's children's garden in London.
As it's the season of giving, as a festive gift we are also giving some free Christmas extras to registered readers (registration is free, by the way):
• We've added a 50% bonus to the usual monthly website article limit for non paid subscribers to 15 articles for the next 2 weeks - all you need to do is register to carry on reading. If you are already registered this free upgrade will take place automatically. You can register now to benefit.
• We've also made our premium publication, Financial Planning Today magazine, free to read for the next 2 weeks. Here's the link to view the latest issue - Financial Planning Today magazine. If you like the magazine subscribe to view every issue.
Your paid subscriptions help us to invest in our journalism and bring you an even better service. Subscriptions cost just £9.99 a month (or less if you subscribe for an annual package) and you can cancel a monthly subscription at any time. A paid subscription means you can read all our content and coverage without limit and you will also receive our Financial Planning Today magazine which includes even more exclusive content.
Financial Planning Today editor Kevin O'Donnell said: "It's been our pleasure to bring you the Financial Planning news this year and we look forward to serving you in 2026. A very Merry Christmas to all our readers, advertisers and supporters and thanks very much for your support this year."
