Azets Wealth Management has agreed a deal to acquire Chartered Financial Planning firm Evans Falco LLP.
Cornwall-based Evans Falco was founded in 2010 and has offices in Redruth and Newquay. The Chartered Planner is led by partners and Chartered Financial Planners Treve Evans and Rosie Falco.
The firm specialises in helping high net worth individuals with complex financial and tax planning and those seeking advice on later-life planning.
Azets said the deal will give the firm a stronger local presence in the area as well as providing Evans Falco’s clients with wider access to new services and specialisms.
Under the terms of the deal, which is for an undisclosed sum, the Evans Falco team will remain with the firm and will relocate to Azets’ regional offices in Plymouth and Truro.
Rosie Falco, partner at Evans Falco, said: “Joining Azets Wealth Management gives us the chance to grow while continuing to deliver the high-quality, personal advice our clients expect. We’ve always believed in building relationships that stand the test of time, and being part of Azets allows us to offer clients even more choice and depth of expertise without losing the values that define us.”
Newcastle-headquartered Azets serves clients across the UK from hubs in the North East, Scotland and the South West.
Azets has made a number of acquisitions including wealth management and charted accountancy firm Milne Craig in Glasgow and Chartered Financial Planners Laurus Associates in Newcastle.
Mark Parkinson, CEO at Azets Wealth Management, said: “Evans Falco has built a fantastic reputation in Cornwall and the South West for trusted, Chartered Financial Planning. Their people-first culture and specialist knowledge are a natural fit with Azets Wealth Management, and we’re delighted to have them on board.
"This is another important step in strengthening our regional presence and ensuring clients benefit from the very best advice and support.”
Contracts for the deal have been exchanged, with completion expected by the end of this month.
