Mr Budd’s brand new book The Eternal Business looks at how to “transition a Financial Planning business for the employee ownership revolution.”
Mr Budd has put his money where his mouth is by transforming his own Bristol-based Financial Planning firm Ovation Finance into an employee-owned business, becoming chairman in the process.
In the book he talks about what motivated the move, the transformation of Ovation Finance and the benefits and the challenges of moving to employee ownership.
He believes many more Financial Planning firms can embrace employee ownership and his firm will not be the last to do so.
He has become an evangelist for the transformation of Financial Planning firms and is a regular speaker at professional events.
