It has appointed Kevin Speake as head of advice, reporting to Tim Childe, head of the Jersey office and international business.

Mr Speake joins from UK-based Quilter Private Client Advisers where he was regional director for London and the South West.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey team to help establish and grow its Financial Planning capability internationally. The office has an excellent reputation, and this will only be enhanced further by the benefits that financial planning and investment management can bring when used in tandem with each other.

"I look forward to working alongside our investment managers and Financial Planners, both in-house and third party, to help to deliver great client outcomes."

Quilter is currently in the process of making a number of Financial Planner hires as the Jersey office grows its client-facing team on the island.

The wealth manager said the addition of Financial Planning capabilities into its Jersey office ensures it can offer international clients an integrated wealth management offering comprising of both Financial Planning and investment management.

Last year Quilter Cheviot Europe established a Financial Planning operation out of its Dublin office to serve European clients.

UK national advice business Quilter Private Client Advisers became part of Quilter Cheviot in 2021.
