The meeting will be held at the Celtic Manor Resort, the same venue as the Institute of Financial Planning Annual Conference, from 15-19 October.
This is the fourth time the UK has hosted the council meeting although the first time at the Celtic Manor.
There are 24 member countries in the FPSB including Australia, India, Malaysia and the United States.
Speaking at the meeting will be the Financial Services Authority who will inform delegates from abroad about the UK's RDR updates and the change from commission to fees.

Also speaking will be John Porteous CFPCM, head of wealth management at accountancy firm RSM Tenon. He will speak to delegates about the challenges and benefits of transitioning financial advisers into Financial Planners.
Other topics will be CFP certification and the Integrated Financial Planning Course which aims to equip individuals and teams with the skills needed to deliver Financial Planning to clients.
Outside of the technical sessions, the IFP will be taking delegates for a medieval banquet at a nearby historic castle to experience some Welsh culture.
The last FPSB meeting was held in Dubai back in April and worked on introducing Financial Planning to the Middle East.
