The Personal Finance Society (PFS) is looking for a member director to join its board and has asked for applications by mid-January.
It said the successful applicant will be given “an excellent opportunity to shape the Society’s strategy and make a visible impact on the future of the profession.”
The PFS said it is looking for members “who can bring insight, experience and diverse perspectives to support the Society’s vision and mission.”
It is an unpaid role, although the PFS said reasonable expenses, including travel and subsistence, will be reimbursed.

In total, the member director should expect to attend a minimum of four to six board meetings each year, plus a strategy day, the Annual Officers’ Conference, the Personal Finance Awards, the AGM, and at least one regional meeting, the PFS said.
The successful candidate will take up the position once their appointment is ratified by the PFS Board. The term of office continues to the conclusion of the PFS AGM 2026 and is then subject to annual rotation, up to a maximum term of six years.
