From today anyone who becomes a company director or person with significant control (PSC) will need to verify their identity with Companies House.

Companies House will require directors and people with significant control of companies to verify their identities with the register from 18 November.

Directors can from today voluntarily verify their identity on Companies House ahead of it becoming a legal requirement later this year.
