242 sign up for CISI Paraplanner Conference 2022
The two day Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment’s Annual Paraplanner Conference is getting under way today.
More than 240 Paraplanners have registered to attend the event, one of the biggest in the Paraplanning calendar.
The event is being held online for the third year. The CISI says the online format is popular with attendees and allows more people to attend.
The event begins at lunchtime today with a welcome from Daniel Atkinson CFP, chair of the CISI Paraplanner Interest Group and head of technical at Paradigm Norton.
This year's theme is 'Power Up' and features a retro 8 bit computer game as a backdrop.
The CISI says the conference - #Paraplanning22 - is bringing, “fresh content to support the central role Paraplanners have in client outcomes.”
There will be more than a dozen speakers providing technical, career progression and soft skills sessions.

This year’s event provides seven hours of CPD. CISI members can book and attend for free. The non member price is £99.
Natalie Raeched, CISI’s Conference Manager, said today: "45 minutes into the conference delegates have already been inspired by Sarah Lees on her personal journey and how she pushed herself to overcome her imposter syndrome.
