The team of cyclists riding 300 miles for the charity which helped IFP chief executive Nick Cann are travelling through northern France today.
Having got to Dover yesterday and undertaken the ferry crossing ex- IFP President Julie Lord and Mr Cann's wife Jo were heading to the town of Abbeville earlier today.
{desktop}{/desktop}{mobile}{/mobile}They were expecting to travel about 75 miles today.
Ms Lord tweeted: "Very little sleep (probs due to excitement and over tiredness!)
"Thanks for all the messages of support, they make a difference so keep them coming!"
It will take them four days to complete the journey to raise cash for the Stroke Association. Mr Cann suffered a stroke last year.
