7IM appoints discretionary relationship manager from Coutts
Seven Investment Management has appointed Stewart Sanderson to run its discretionary relationship management team.
Mr Sanderson joins 7IM, a corporate member of the Institute of Financial Planning, from private bank Coutts & Co.
While at Coutts, he worked as director of wealth management for almost three years and has over 20 years experience as a financial adviser, private banker and regional director.
This includes work at Lloyds Private Banking, Allied Irish Banks, RBS and Natwest.
Mr Sanderson will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the discretionary relationship management as well as developing and running relationships. This will free up time for 7IM client relationship manager David Carroll to focus on the clients and professional intermediaries.

Tom Sheridan, chief executive of 7IM, said: "Stewart's knowledge and expertise will be really useful to us, we have lots to do, big plans and need a great team of people to make it happen. He will be an important and complementary addition to 7IM."
He said Mr Sanderson's appointment reflected the changing face of 7IM. The firm originated in the discretionary management sector and its service has evolved to offer investment, savings and loans.
This means it is competing with private banks so 7IM wanted to hire someone with experience in the private banking sector to attract more clients.
