Stockton-on-Tees based Active Chartered Financial Planners has recruited two new senior staff as it celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The new additions are Chartered Financial Planner Craig Honeyman and Chartered Paraplanner Lauren Lee.
Craig Honeyman has more than 20 years of experience in Financial Planning, having begun his career in 2004 at Redcar based firm Bob Little and Co. Her also worked at Money Matters, which later became part of the Kingswood Group.
He holds the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and achieved chartered status with the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2022.
He said: “I was drawn to Active Chartered Financial Planners because of its independent status, strong local reputation, and client-centred approach.”
Lauren Lee has worked in financial services in the Tees Valley since 2011 when she began her career as an apprentice and developed an expertise in compliance and operational support roles.
She completed her diploma in Financial Planning in 2019, achieved chartered status in 2021 and became a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2022.
She said: “Active Chartered Financial Planners has been incredibly welcoming. I knew a lot about their culture before I came here, and it really hasn't disappointed.”
The County Durham firm added four new team members in 2024 and now has a team of 29, 15 of which are Chartered-qualified.

Active is based at Thornaby in Stockton-on-Tees and covers the entire North East and Yorkshire regions.
