Aberdeenshire-based Acumen Financial Planning has expanded in West Scotland with a new office in Glasgow.
Acumen made the move to its new West End office following a period of significant growth.
The team now includes 12 Financial Planners.
The Glasgow office will be headed by Chartered Financial Planner Laura Crowe.
She will be supported in leading the team by Chartered Financial Planner Tom Hyslop, Paraplanners Amanda McLardie, Madailein Alexander and Steven Hurley, training and competence supervisor Pauline McKinley and client relationship manager Melanie Shields.
In her new role Ms Crowe will also be responsible for Acumen’s latest acquisition, Loch Fyne Financial.
The acquisition saw Acumen gain five new members of staff including Certified Financial Planner Jackie Coyne, and Financial Planner Paul Ross.
Ms Lowe said: “The new office opening, acquisitions and appointments highlight a significant and exciting time for the business. Having a presence within the cities in which we operate is so important, as it enables us to offer clients a space where they can access bespoke, high-quality Financial Planning advice.
“We are finding more than ever in recent years, that after the pandemic, face to face advice is appreciated more than ever. We look forward to welcoming our clients and the wider team to our new location.”
Ms Lowe added that the Glasgow office is also looking to hire new team members.
Acumen first entered Glasgow in 2018 with the acquisition of Forty-Two Financial Planning.
Acumen Financial Planning was established in its current form in 2022 and forms part of The Financial Planning Group which also includes Acumen Employee Benefits, SpringGen Advice Ltd, Medical & Dental, Enrich Tax Consultancy and Loch Fyne Financial Ltd.
