Alliance Trust Savings (ATS) has appointed two new staff to help expand its reach into the advisory sector. The new roles will help the firm with development and marketing of its investment proposition to both direct and advisory clients. Sara Wilson has been appointed as head of platform proposition. She joins from Standard Life Assurance where she held the role of international propositions manager. At ATS she will be responsible for leading the platform proposition across direct and intermediary channels. Graham Cassidy has been appointed as intermediary marketing manager with responsibility for creating marketing support for advisers and their clients. He joins the firm from Standard Life where he was responsible for intermediary marketing. {desktop}{/desktop}{mobile}{/mobile} Elaine Maddison, proposition and service director at ATS, said: "This is an exciting time for ATS and we are committed to ensure that we have a market leading investment platform for both advisers and direct clients. "Following the implementation of the RDR, we see particular opportunities in the advised space where both Graham and Sara experience will be invaluable." The firm has £4.6bn in assets on its platform, a 50 per cent growth over the past 18 months, and expects to see strong growth in 2013.
