Expanding Financial Planner and IFA Ascot Lloyd has acquired Ring Associates, an East Anglian Financial Planning firm with 45 staff.

Ring is based in Kings Lynn and has £382m in funds under management. 

The firm has provided Financial Planning and wealth management services locally for 18 years and has a dozen advisers. 

Ascot Lloyd has 440 staff including 130 advisers. They look after 18,000 clients across the UK and the firm has £8bn in funds under influence.

Ascot has grown rapidly in recent years. Last year it agreed terms on eight acquisitions including Financial Planning firms Prest Financial Planning and QS Financial.
