Andrew Duthie, insight manager for wealth and protection at Defaqto, said: “As is commonly the case when we take the numbers for platform recommendations, Aviva and Quilter dominate the top two spots with more than half of all the recommendations in the top 10 falling to these two.
“The former Embark platform, now Scottish Widows Platform, has seen growth. Its improvement in recommendations, in part due to advisers seeking to utilise brands they know well.
“Fundment performed extremely well in Defaqto's 2026 Platform Service Survey and has now entered the top 10 for adviser recommendations. This is likely a reflection of its commitment to providing a high-quality adviser experience, allowing advisers to focus more of their time on delivering value and better outcomes for clients.”
