Azets Wealth Management in Bristol has appointed Financial Planner Simon Stygall as a Chartered Financial Planner and director.
Mr Stygall will focus on lifestyle planning for business owners and individuals in his new role.
He was formerly with financial adviser Flying Colours and will work from Azets’ offices in Bristol and Gloucester.
Before joining Flying Colours in 2022 he worked as a Chartered Financial Planner at Close Brother Assets Management for almost three years.
He started his career on the pensions helpdesk at Hargreaves Lansdown before moving to to other roles at the Bristol firm over the next nine years.
He became a Financial Planner at Anderson Financial Management in 2015 before moving to Barry Fleming and Partners in Newbury in 2017.
Iain Sanderson, office managing partner and tax partner at Azets, said: “Our Bristol office continues to grow and Simon, from our bases here and in Gloucester, will be helping clients with lifestyle planning, broadening our wealth management offering in the local market.”
The firm has also made three other appointments, with Tom Sharman joining as audit senior in Bristol, Becky Hudson promoted to office managing partner in Gloucester, and Vicky Fisher becoming assistant manager at the firm’s debt advisory team in Cardiff.
Newcastle-headquartered Azets serves clients across the UK from hubs in the North East, Scotland and the South West.
Azets has made a number of acquisitions including wealth management and charted accountancy firm Milne Craig in Glasgow and Chartered Financial Planners Laurus Associates in Newcastle.
