Barnett Waddingham appoints 5 new equity partners
Expanding pension consultancy Barnett Waddingham has appointed five new equity partners and made several other senior promotions to support its continued growth.
The promotions are in different areas of the business including risk, pensions, investment, insurance and employer benefit consulting.
The new partners are Alex Toney in employer consulting, Collette Graham in pension administration, Kathryn Rushton in SSAS, Mark Norquay in actuarial consulting, and Vivienne Maclure in insurance & longevity consulting.
Alex Toney joined Barnett Waddingham in 2007 and works on contract-based and trust-based defined contribution pension schemes across a range of clients, both UK and multi-national, with employee numbers in excess of 100,000.
Collette Graham has more 30 years' experience within the pensions industry and became a principal at Barnett Waddingham in June 2019. She leads the client relationship managers for the pension administration business area.
Kathryn Rushton has been the business support manager for Barnett Waddingham’s SSAS business area since 2015. She oversees the SSAS projects team, which carries out many of the core administration functions for BW’s portfolio of more 1,600 SSASs.
Mark Norquay first joined Barnett Waddingham in 2004 and works across the firm’s DB pension scheme areas, focusing on systems strategy and the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects for clients.
Vivienne Maclure, has been part of Barnett Waddingham’s insurance & longevity consulting practice since 2002. She assists clients in understanding longevity, mortality, and morbidity risks and currently acts as secretary for the continuous mortality investigation and has worked extensively with several CMI Committees.
As well as the new equity partners, there have been 12 principal promotions and 26 associate promotions.

The firm also said goodbye to three current partners — Damian Stancombe, Ian Ward, and Danny Wilding - who are retiring from BW.
Barnett Waddingham is an independent UK consultancy in risk, pensions, investment and insurance. It has more than 1,750 workers, including 98 partners before the new appointments. It has nine offices across the country in Amersham, Birmingham, Bristol, Cheltenham, Glasgow, Guildford, Leeds, Liverpool and London.
Last month it appointed four new managing partners.
