Brown Shipley appoints Financial Planner as new director
Wealth planner Brown Shipley has appointed Financial Planner Robert Farnworth as client director in its Court of Protection & Personal Injury specialist team.
Mr Farnworth, an experienced Financial Planner and relationship manager with a career spanning more than 10 years, will be based in Brown Shipley’s Manchester office and will report to Richard McGregor, national head of Court of Protection and personal injury.
He has previous experience at Tilney, Towry and Frenkel Topping.
In these roles, he was a Financial Planner and relationship manager, specifically working with serious injury litigators pre-settlement and Court of Protection deputies post-settlement.
As a qualified wealth manager he has experience acting as expert witness to the court, advising on periodical payment suitability, personal Injury trusts, minor trusts and pension losses.

The new appointment is the latest in a series of senior hires following the appointment of David Scammell as fixed income and macro strategist, Amish Patel as senior equity analyst and Gerry Maguire as lending client director.
