Wealth manager Charles Stanley has appointed Louise Fletcher as head of middle office. 

In the newly-created role Ms Fletcher will be responsible for standardising and simplifying the firm’s middle office and creating a single central support function across the group. 
 
She has more than 25 years’ experience working in financial services and investment management for both institutional and private client organisations. 

During her career, she has managed teams across operations, transformation, business and regulatory change and client services both within large global organisations and smaller UK companies.  

More recently she has been working with Charles Stanley as an external consultant, putting in place the groundwork to modernise operating processes through greater flexibility and reduction of duplication. 

She will continue this work, as well as managing the middle office, the firm says.
