Dorset-based IFA expands with second hire this year
Financial Planner David Woan has joined the growing team at Dorset-based IFA Wilcox Young, marking the firm’s second new hire this year so far.
Mr Woan joins the company from the Financial Planning practice he ran himself for 16 years as part of the Positive Solutions network.
He previously gained experience with Prudential and Canada Life. He specialises in savings and investments, pensions, estate planning and protection.
Mr Woan said: “After 16 years running my own independent financial advice practice with the support of a UK-wide IFA network, I am now bringing my admin and support closer to home.
“Through Wilcox Young I look forward to delivering greater, tailored support and financial solutions for my clients, and a succession facility to deliver continuity with local, trusted IFAs for the future.”
Dan Weldon, director at Wilcox Young, said: “David clearly brings with him a wealth of experience, having supported an extensive list of clients over the past decade and a half. Together with his depth of knowledge of the region’s business community, we are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Wimborne-based Wilcox Young Partnership is an IFA firm providing financial advice to individuals and businesses in Dorset and the local area for over 35 years. It advises clients directly as well as working alongside other professional advisers such as solicitors and accountants.
