Ex-Henderson and L&G bosses move to Defaqto
Defaqto has appointed a new head of insight and a new senior vice president who have held senior roles at Henderson and Legal & General.
Pan Andreas, who will join from January 2016 as head of insight (Funds and DFMs), was formerly managing director of wealth management at Sesame Bankhall Group and has over 30 years’ of experience in the financial advice sector.
He has also held a number of senior roles with Henderson, Intrinsic and Towry Law.
Mr Andreas will lead the delivery of Defaqto’s industry-leading Ratings and Risk-Rated Funds and models, as well as their Publications and Consultancy. These propositions are said to help financial advisers select suitable and appropriate funds and portfolios for their clients.

Frank Potaczek has also joined the team in the newly created role of senior vice president (Funds and DFMs).
Mr Potaczek will be responsible for increasing the focus on supporting fund management and intermediary clients, along with boosting Defaqto’s event presence in the UK.
He previously held senior roles with Intrinsic, Close Brothers and Legal & General before joining Defaqto in January 2014.
