The Financial Conduct Authority has appointed four directors for its supervision department.

Both Mr Amos and Ms Woodall previously worked at the Financial Services Authority, Mr Amos in the enforcement department and Ms Woodall in the investment department.
Mr Poyntz-Wright joins the FCA from Old Mutual and previously worked as chief executive of Skandia for six years.

Mr Poyntz-Wright, Mr Amos and Ms Woodall have already been acting directors since April 2013 and now take up permanent roles while Ms McTeague will join from Lloyds Banking Group in November. They will all report to Clive Adamson, director of supervision.
Mr Adamson said: "I am delighted to have appointed Karina, Nick, Will and Linda to the Supervision division. They bring a wealth of industry and regulatory experience and will strengthen the leadership of the organisation.
"These appointments also provide more management depth to help us take forward the FCA's agenda in the diverse sectors that they will lead."
