Financial Planner backs equal opportunities charity
A Financial Planning firm based in Leeds has revealed its charity of the year as the local Leeds Community Foundation.
Manse Capital made the announcement after a “successful year of fundraising” for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal and Yorkshire Air Ambulance, raising more than £2,000 for the charities.
The Leeds Community Foundation is dedicated to creating “a city of opportunity for all” and supports thousands of charities and voluntary groups across the city, which are set up to “address inequalities and important issues in their communities.”
In a series of fundraisers across the course of the year the Manse Capital team expect to raise “well over £2,000” for the charity.
The firm has agreed to match the teams’ donations thereby doubling the cash for the charity.
Paul Everett, managing director at Manse Capital said: “We are so excited to be raising for such important causes in our local community.
“We hope our donations will enable the Leeds Community Foundation to continue to provide and reach out to more charities and voluntary services in our region.
“As a company, we pride ourselves on giving back to the local community and local charities, and are pleased to be supporting such a dynamic source of funding in our region.”
Rachel Evans, development officer at Leeds Community Foundation said: “We are delighted that Manse Capital have chosen to champion and support the work of Leeds Community Foundation by joining our 100 Club, making a real difference in the communities of Leeds that need it the most.”
