Financial Planner Fidelius moves to new HQ
Chartered Financial Planning firm Fidelius Group has moved into new headquarters at a landmark office building, No 1, Bath Quays, Bath which it says will help promote "hybrid working."
No 1, Bath Quays is the first new office building in the city in a generation.
It is part of a 4.5 acre regeneration project with a footbridge linking the development with the city, as well as transport links to promote cleaner travel options, including electric car charging points and bicycle storage.
The building also incorporates energy-efficient LED lighting throughout.
Fidelius said: “The new office will facilitate easier hybrid working practices through the adoption of new technology, and will fully support collaboration across all of Fidelius’ teams.”
Fidelius Group has £1.75bn under advice and 158 employees based at its offices in Bath, Chelmsford, Cheltenham, Mansfield and London.
Jim Grant, chief executive of the Fidelius Group, said: “Fidelius is a growing business, and we recognise that the future is towards hybrid working practices. We listened to our team when planning this move and the new office and technology will allow our employees to work seamlessly from home or the office with meeting and workspaces designed to promote freedom of thought, collaboration and energy.”
The business partnered with recycling business Collecteco to donate its old office furniture to good causes. Collecteco was set up in 2005 to help organisations donate furniture, equipment and materials.
The total value of equipment donated to the community was more than £61,000, supporting 13 good causes, avoiding 15,007kg of carbon dioxide and diverting 11,998kg from landfill, Fidelius said.
