Financial Planner makes 2 senior hires from Brown Shipley
Financial Planning and wealth management firm, The RU Group, has made two new senior hires at its Nottingham HQ.
Matthew Harrison, joins the firm from Brown Shipley and has been appointed as Paraplanning team leader.
Mr Harrison has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years covering many areas, primarily investments, pensions and protection.
He has held various roles during his career, including that of a fully authorised adviser, a mortgage adviser and senior Paraplanner.
Also joining The RU Group is Sue Hancox, who has been appointed as the group’s new finance controller.
She has worked in the industry for over 20 years, working primarily in account departments.
Ms Hancox, also from Brown Shipley, is ACCA qualified and has spent the last nine years working as a finance controller.

The RU Group currently has more than £500m in private wealth under management in its model portfolios and investment propositions.
The company employs over 70 members of staff across its offices in Nottingham, Sheffield and Derby.
