Financial Planning and advisory firm makes new HNW acquisition
Blick Rothenberg, which alongside its accounting and tax services has a pensions planning and advisory arm, has acquired Hazlems Fenton.
Hazlems Fenton offers services including tax planning and managing complex tax issues and structures for HNW individuals, as well as finance and personal tax services and a number of business services.
CogitalGroup’s Blick Rothenberg says it acquired the West End-based practice because of its focus on “entrepreneurial businesses.”
John Connolly, executive chairman af Blick Rothenberg, said: “I am delighted to welcome our new colleagues into our group.
“Hazlems Fenton‘s client base complements Blick Rothenberg’s services to entrepreneurial businesses.
“The acquisition builds on Blick Rothenberg’s existing client base in this sector which is a core historic strength of Blick Rothenberg.
Nilesh Shah, CEO of Blick Rothenberg, said: “We are delighted to have acquired Hazlems Fenton.
“They have a very good reputation in this sector and are a perfect fit commercially and culturally.
“It is another step in our ambition to build a high quality business focusing on domestic and international private businesses and their owners.”
Russell Tenzer, joint managing partner of Hazlems Fenton, said: “This opportunity is the start of an exciting new phase for our practice.
“At a time when the profession is changing so rapidly, the ability to expand our service offering for clients and benefit from the investment in people and technology being made by CogitalGroup is perfectly timed.”
He added: “Both firms have built excellent reputations in their respective markets and in Blick Rothenberg we have a company that shares our culture of providing a first class client led experience.”
