Chartered Financial Planner Fairstone has announced a deal to acquire two more financial advice firms - making a total of four deals announced in the past month.

AFH, the Financial Planning-led wealth manager, is set to return to its strategy of acquisition after taking a break to consolidate rapid expansion in recent years.

Chartered Financial Planning firm Fairstone has seen its client base rise to 59,000 – a 5% increase over the past six months – with three firms joining its Downstream Buy Out (DBO) programme and a further four being fully acquired by the business.

UK-based wealth manager Kingswood has revealed it has acquired an interest in Manhattan Harbor Capital Inc.
