London-based Financial Planner First Wealth has expanded its team with the addition of three new Financial Planners.
The new team members are: Henry McPherson, Sami Beck and Rob Edwards.
The company says the additions will help increase adviser and specialist Financial Planning capacity as the firm strives to grow.
The additions are:
- Henry McPherson joins as a Chartered Financial Planner from Lloyds Wealth (formerly Schroders Personal Wealth). He focuses on retirement planning, tax-efficient investing and long-term financial independence.
- Sami Beck joins as a Chartered Financial Planner from Oak Private Wealth, where he advised clients for more than three years. He specialises in retirement, helping clients turn a lifetime of saving into a sustainable income.
- Rob Edwards joins as a Chartered Financial Planner, having previously worked at Mercer. He specialises in working with individuals and families navigating retirement planning in a tax-efficient way, as well as inheritance tax planning and lifestyle-oriented Financial Planning.
First Wealth manages around £740m for 840 clients and their families. It says it puts client wellbeing at the centre of its Financial Planning.
Anthony Villis, co-founder and managing director of First Wealth, said: “As we grow, we want planners who share our belief that wealth should be measured by wellbeing, and who have the experience to put that into practice.
"Henry, Sami, and Rob bring deep experience of retirement planning, which is where a lot of our clients want the most support.”
First Wealth was founded in 2009 by Anthony Villis and Rob Caplan. Its 'Measure Wealth by Wellbeing' philosophy places client wellbeing at the centre of Financial Planning through six evidence-based pillars covering financial objectives, risk protection, Financial Planning, financial independence, family and impact.
