Ms Gunay is also managing direct and founder of Venus Global Finance where she helps empower professional women and female entrepreneurs to achieve financial freedom.
She said that the international footprint of Hoxton is one of the main drivers for her joining the firm.
She said: “In an industry where most firms are confined to a single regulatory environment, Hoxton Wealth’s global presence in the USA, UAE, Australia, the EU, South Africa, and the Americas sets it apart.
“This international footprint allows me to serve clients wherever they are in the world, which is particularly important to me as someone who has lived the expat life and understands the complexities of cross-border Financial Planning.”
She also has plans to become at least dual authorised and is working towards Chartered Financial Planner status.
She added: “This would enable me to extend my advice remit across borders and better serve internationally mobile clients. I am also committed to enhancing my technical expertise and progressing towards Chartered Financial Planner status, reflecting my dedication to continuous professional development and the highest standards of advice.”
Oliver Gorman, revenue director at Hoxton Wealth, said Ms Gunay’s experience as an expat and “deep understanding” of the UK financial landscape will help the firm innovate and grow within the UK market.
