The FSCS has added Knight Wealth Management Services and IFA Home Counties to its list of failed firms this morning.
The move opens the door to clients of the firms claiming compensation from the FSCS.
Essex-based financial advisory firm IFA Home Counties Ltd failed on 17 May. The firm was founded in September 2008 by Laurence Gould.
Birmingham-based Knight Wealth Management Services failed on 07 May. The firm was founded in February 2004 by financial adviser Barry Knight.
The FSCS s the UK’s statutory compensation scheme for customers of regulated financial services firms. It was founded in 2001 and has helped over 5.5m people claim compensation so far.
