Amy Gray is SJP Chartered Financial Planner of the Year
Chartered Financial Planner Amy Gray, of Amy Gray Wealth Management in Hull, has been named St James's Place Chartered Financial Planner of the Year in St James’s Place seventh Annual Chartered Awards.
The awards recognise individuals and firms within the SJP Partnership that have continued to raise professional standards and demonstrated a commitment to the profession and clients.
Ms Gray has spent almost 20 years in financial services and established her SJP Partner Practice in 2021.
She said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be named SJP’s Chartered Financial Planner of the Year and being recognised for my passion for this profession and my clients. I’m very grateful for the support I get every day from my clients, colleagues, family and friends and I feel honoured to have been recognised in this way alongside my peers. “
Other SJP Chartered Award winners included:
- Bellamy Wealth Management won SJP Chartered Firm of the Year
- Adam Johnson of New Forest Wealth Management was announced Vulnerability Champion of the Year
- Dave Southby Financial Planning was crowned SJP Responsible Business of the Year
- Victoria Mellor of Parnell Financial Management was awarded SJP Paraplanner of the Year

SJP has developed a programme of initiatives to help its representatives achieve Chartered Planner status. Some 1,182 individuals across SJP and its partnership now hold a Chartered title awarded by one of the professional bodies (including Chartered Financial Planner, Chartered Wealth Manager, Chartered Associate and Chartered Financial Analyst), while 54 of SJP’s Partner Practices hold Chartered status and 28% of all SJP Partner Practices have a resident Chartered Adviser.
