IFP Corporate Member profile: Suffolk Life
Suffolk Life is a leading UK Sipp administrator. Operating since 1971, we currently look after 16,500 self- invested plans with assets of £5bn.
Suffolk Life is known for its high quality personal service and technical expertise, which has been recognised by numerous industry awards over the years.
Our roots are in the legal profession, originating from a group of solicitors who pioneered self investing and placing commercial property within a personal pension. To this day Sipp commercial property investment remains a core area of expertise, with approximately 2,600 properties held for more than 4,000 clients.
In an increasingly commoditised market we believe that by continuing to focus on high quality personal service we can maintain the support that planners need to build their businesses and add value to their clients.

Sipp administration is our sole focus, built upon the sound foundations of experience and quality, and underpinned by financial strength. Suffolk Life is a profitable business and every year we invest significant amounts back into our business to develop our service and proposition, building for the long term.
All our new business comes from Finanical Planners so they're central to the future of our business and we are here to support them. In addition, we work closely with their chosen investment partners, building strategic relationships to benefit planners and investors alike. To this end we are always look for an opportunity to host technical seminars and face-to-face sessions with planners.
Alongside a market leading bespoke Sipp and commercial property operation, we also provide streamlined Sipps that integrate with some of the UK's leading platform and discretionary manager businesses. This allows advisers to meet a wider variety of client needs.
