Below is a summary of some key dates for your diary in 2015, including a retirement planning workshop.
Estate planning day comes to Bristol
On 27 January the IFP's estate planning workshop comes to Leigh Court in Bristol. This practical, focused day will provide updates on the latest developments within this key area for clients. Sessions will provide technical and practical content combined with plenty of opportunities for discussion and debate with peers. These workshops continue to prove popular as they offer a one stop shop for great value, high quality structured CPD.

Retirement reforms: all you need to know
The IFP's next retirement planning workshop on 12 February in London will include a look at detail of the impending pension changes from Bob Gordon of Standard Life who always receives excellent feedback for his delivery and value. Delegates will also explore a retirement planning case study with experienced planner, Michael Hague FIFP CFPCM and Philippa Hann of Clarke Willmott LLP will look at what developments are expected for 2015 including court and ombudsman cases, legislation and regulatory developments. If you are looking for an update on the latest retirement planning changes and how they impact your clients, this workshop should not be missed.
New for 2015
The 2015 events programme sees the addition of two back to basics events focused on the six step Financial Planning process. They will provide a real eye opener for those looking to develop their Financial Planning skills and they are ideal for you if you are new to Financial Planning or looking to transition. Experienced planners will candidly share what they do, how and why. They take place in London on 26 February and Edinburgh on 5 March. There's also a new advanced level Financial Planning day on 11 June where experienced planners and CFPCM professionals will give a high level insight into how they put the six steps of Financial Planning into practice. Expect to pick up top tips and plenty of practical takeaways.
