IFP rebrands its logo for post-RDR world
The Institute of Financial Planning has launched a new look for its brand, replacing the logo and brand which has served the professional body well since its launch in 1986.
The IFP said the new brand builds on the successes of the past and was designed to more accurately reflect the engagement and community which is a strong element of the IFP.
From today (10 June), new logos, new graphics, new colours are all in use, designed to bring the IFP brand alive. Through it, the IFP demonstrates and celebrates the fact that it represents a Financial Planning community which is dynamic and friendly as well as highly professional and ethical.
As part of the rebrand, the IFP has also given its Twitter page a makeover. Twitter users can follow @IFP_UK to keep up with the latest in Financial Planning news from key members of the IFP team in Bristol.
Rebecca Taylor FIFP CFPCM, IFP President, said: "It's great to see this new look and brand image for IFP. These are exciting times for the Financial Planning profession and I believe that its new softer visual image is a much better reflection of IFP's real character and values.
"There's always been a strong focus on people as well as businesses, a real sense of community and the sharing of ideas based on the highest ethical and professional standards. I'm sure that these changes not only reflect these more effectively but will also help to raise awareness of IFP and the Financial Planning profession with a much broader audience in future."

Sue Whitbread, IFP communications director said: "IFP and the Financial Planning community is well known for being open, friendly, positive and forward looking in its approach. By refreshing our brand and image helps us to remind practitioners and consumers more broadly that this is a profession that we're proud to represent.
"At its heart are great people, great ideas and great stories. This brand refresh will help us to connect with growing numbers of like-minded professionals who want to share the powerful commitment to excellence that's so strong in Financial Planning particularly at this time when so many are facing considerable challenges post-RDR."
More information about the rebrand is available on the IFP website at www.financialplanning.org.uk
