The number of complaints about life and pension and investment companies fell by 8% during 2022, according to the latest data from the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The Financial Ombudsman Service has today launched a consultation on proposed amendments to the way it reports business-specific complaints data. 

Baroness Manzoor has been reappointed as chair of the Financial Ombudsman Service after serving more than three and a half years in the role.
