Openwork, the advisory network with 3,500 advisers, has unveiled a programme which will support firms to ‘upskill’ mortgage advisers to become qualified wealth advisers, offering holistic Financial Planning.

The Financial Ombudsman Service recorded a total of 170,000 new cases in the first six months of this year, up 13% on 2016.

Openwork Group’s adviser headcount now stands at 3,521, up from 3,008 this time last year, says the company, representing growth of 17%.

Financial adviser group Openwork says it has exceeded 2,000 advisers in its core network for the first time in five years and boosted its total group adviser numbers to a record 3,200.
