JM Finn moves Leeds office to York
Wealth manager JM Finn has relocated its Yorkshire office after 20 years in Leeds to York to allow expansion as the team grows.
It has had a presence in Yorkshire since 2002.
The new office was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of York, Councillor David Carr who was accompanied by the Lady Mayoress Mrs Lynda Carr during a reception at the offices in the presence of a number of other private client advisory firms.
Hugo Bedford, chief executive of JM Finn said: “Being able to work with a new office development has meant we have been able to create a fantastic space for our staff and clients, built to a high sustainability standard and in a terrific location.
“I’m excited for all the team in Yorkshire and for the opportunity they have to get closer to our clients and position themselves as the local wealth management firm.”
Andrew Aitken, head of the Yorkshire office said: “As we looked for new premises, we were benefiting from the experience of changing working practices post-pandemic which has taught us that we can work flexibly and made us think about the role of the office.
“We will always meet clients where is most convenient for them but we also recognise that other client advisers require accessibility, so with that in mind, we felt the need to have an office that worked for both, while also giving us space to expand as we look to grow the team.”
Investment director Lucy Coutts, said: “This move is a great opportunity to further our network and deepen some relationships, of which we have many, in North Yorkshire.”
JM Finn is headquartered in London and also has offices in Bristol, Bury St Edmunds and Winchester and offers multi-asset portfolios, discretionary portfolio management, and managed portfolio services to financial advisers.
