Lexington Wealth gains Accredited CISI status
Wiltshire-based Lexington Wealth Management has gained CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firm status.
It takes the UK-wide list of accredited Financial Planning firms to 66.
For a firm to become accredited, the CISI requires that it meet specific criteria to demonstrate it is offering a full Financial Planning service.
Consumers can search the list of accredited Financial Planning firms in their area via the CISI’s Wayfinder website.
Warren Shute, managing director at Lexington Wealth Management and a Chartered Wealth Manager, said: “I have watched on the side-lines over the last several years and seen how well the Accredited Financial Planning Firms group has grown and developed since inception. I had initially been a little reluctant to apply, but I did so because I realised just how much I was missing out on.
“The AFPF conference looks amazing and the opportunity to network and discuss professional challenges with other leading firms is invaluable, in hindsight, I wish I had applied sooner!”
Based in Wiltshire, Lexington Wealth Management is an independently owned, family-run Financial Planning firm specialising in Financial Planning and wealth management services to individuals and business owners either approaching or in retirement.
Sally Plant, head of Financial Planning at the CISI, said: “It’s exciting to welcome Lexington Wealth Management as a CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firm, achieving the pinnacle of professionalism for Financial Planning firms.
“I’d like to also take this opportunity to thank Lexington’s co-founder Warren Shute CFP Chartered FCSI for supporting me. His guidance has been invaluable.”
The CISI has 43,000 members around the globe and also provides the Certified Financial Planner designation in the UK.
