The team behind North West wealth manager Millen Capital are to join Financial Planner and wealth manager Evelyn Partners.

Evelyn says the deal, which will see the team join the Liverpool office, will spur expansion in the North West.

The acquisition of Millen's assets and staff is the 10th deal of its kind undertaken by Evelyn.

Millen Capital is a boutique wealth manager set up by Angus Millen in 1999 to provide wealth management services to professionals and business owners.

The deal will see a total of five people move from Millen to Evelyn.

Millen Capital’s founding partner Angus Millen joins Evelyn Partners along with Chartered Wealth Manager Gareth Lyttle CFA, Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager Vicki Harper, and administrators Linda O’Neill and Ruby Leigh. 

The transfer is part of Evelyn Partners succession planning scheme for business owners. As part of these deals Evelyn Partners acquires the assets of the business followed in due course by a transition of staff and clients to Evelyn Partners.

Evelyn Partners was created by the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson in 2020 and has long roots in Liverpool. Tilney was founded in Liverpool in 1836.

Evelyn’s Liverpool office is in the iconic Liver Building on the waterfront and provides clients with Financial Planning and investment management advice.
