More Accredited Financial Planning firms recognised by IFP
Three more firms have been recognised as Accredited Financial Planning Firms by the Institute of Financial Planning.
London-based John Lamb LLP, Fiscal Engineers in Nottingham and Broadway Financial Planning in Worcestershire have all been added to the register this month.
They join the initial 25 firms who were named at the IFP conference in October.
Fiscal Engineers was also the winner of the David Norton Building Excellence Award at the IFP conference.
Campbell Edgar, partner at John Lamb LLP and former IFP president, said: “As a firm Financial Planning is at the heart of what we do and we’re really delighted to be recognised for following that approach.
“Internally it will reinforce the power of what we provide for our clients and externally it will help public relations on our PR and marketing material and get clients more engaged with Financial Planning.”
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: “We’re seeing a steady stream of excellent firms entering their applications to join this register. I’m delighted that such good progress is being made already in establishing Accredited Firms as the ultimate standard of excellence for Financial Planning to aspire towards.”
To be recognised as an Accredited Financial Planning Firm, firms must show they follow the IFP’s code of ethics and practice and demonstrate the highest standards of Financial Planning practice.
