Wealth manager Utmost Wealth Solutions has reported net inflows of £2bn for the first half of 2025, bringing a two-year streak of negative flows to an end.
The wealth manager attributed the turnaround to strong results in the UK following its acquisition of Lombard International.
Utmost reported net outflows of £1.1bn for the first half of 2024, and £0.4bn total net outflows for 2024. The wealth manager had seen high gross outflows of £7.5bn for both 2023 and 2024.
Gross outflows for the wealth manager fell to £3.3bn for the first half of 2025 (H124: £3.7bn) which were more than offset by strong inflows of £5.3bn which were more than double those reported for the first half of the previous year (H124: £2.6bn).
Total assets under administration at the end of June were £17.1bn (31 December: £103.5bn).
Paul Thompson, CEO of Utmost Group, said the results demonstrates the benefits of combining Lombard with Utmost.
He said: “Utmost has continued to build on the growth that we experienced in the second half of last year to deliver a record breaking first half. We have capitalised on our acquisition of Lombard International, realising £2.0bn in net flows driven by a doubling of gross inflows compared to the same period last year.”
Utmost completed its acquisition of Lombard International in December. The acquisition brought in £45bn in asset under administration.
