New Integrated Financial Planning course from IFP
The Institute of Financial Planning has launched a new Integrated Financial Planning Course for aspiring Financial Planners and Paraplanners.
The two-day course will replace the old Principles and Practices of Financial Planning course and will enable advisers to build up Financial Planning skills.
It is designed to integrate Financial Planning theory and practice and help advisers and Paraplanners apply their knowledge and develop professional skills.
It will guide delegates through the six-stage Financial Planning process and how to engage with clients, through to identifying goals and creating viable financial plans. This will demonstrate to delegates the difference between financial advice and Financial Planning and how it can form the basis of a profitable fee-charging business model.

Delegates will be taught the skills of listening, inquiring, engaging, committing and presenting through case studies used for Level 6 qualification and alternative scenario evaluations.
By the end of the two days, delegates will have worked on all aspects of a financial plan and be confident of putting Financial Planning into practice for clients. They may then wish to progress to CFPCM certification or the Level 4 certificate in Paraplanning.
This will be especially important post-RDR as it will differentiate from other advisers and enable you to add more value to clients.
Contact the IFP on 0117 9452470 for more information.
