New managing director appointed at finance firm
Ortec Finance, provider of investment decision technology and solutions, has announced the appointment of Deon Dreyer as UK managing director.
Mr Dreyer will be taking over from Lucas Vermeulen who moving back to the Netherlands.
He is joining Ortec Finance from Insight Investment, where he had held the role of client director.
Prior to this, Mr Dreyer held investment consulting roles at Quantum Advisory, PwC and Aon Hewitt and has worked in the pensions industry since 1996.
Fred Heemskerk, head of global business at Ortec Finance, said: “Deon has over two decades of industry experience and will bring a wealth of expertise to the role.
“He will be hands-on working with our clients on their investment strategy, growing the UK team and enhancing the Ortec offering to ensure these industry leading tools are available to as many pensions schemes, asset managers and asset owners as possible.
