Financial Planner Nine Edge Wealth has increased its headcount from 25 to 34 (36%) in the third quarter following a recruitment drive.
The recruitment drive was launched as the firm looked to expand its London office and service an expanding client list.
Nine Edge Wealth was founded by Derek Miles (CEO), Kyle Augustin (COO), Jo Blake (CMDO) and former England rugby player Matthew Dawson (NED). The firm provides Financial Planning and financial advice with a focus on combining experienced advisers with technology-enabled processes.
New joiners include former professional rugby player Henry Cheeseman as a trainee adviser.
One of the senior appointments is Paul Woolston, who has joined the business as director of wealth planning and employee benefits.
Mr Woolston joins from Mattioli Woods, where he was regional director for the south of England. He brings with him 22 years of experience in wealth management with other roles including senior roles at Titan Wealth Planning, Mercer Private Wealth and JLT Benefits Solutions.
At Nine Edge Wealth he will be responsible for continuing to develop Financial Planning and employee benefits capabilities.
Derek Miles, CEO of Nine Edge Wealth, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Paul and Henry to Nine Edge Wealth at an important stage in the development of the business.
“Paul brings considerable leadership and Financial Planning experience, while Henry’s drive, discipline and willingness to learn give him an excellent foundation on which to build his new career.”
It has rebranded its Scottish businesses under the Nine Edge Wealth banner with RMS Financial becoming Nine Edge Wealth (Edinburgh) Limited, and Wealth Professional becoming Nine Edge Wealth (Scotland) Limited.
