Jersey-based investment manager Oakglen Wealth, part of global investment group Oakglen, has acquired Financial Planning firm Homebuyer Financial Services Limited, for an undisclosed amount.

It said the acquisition will expand Oakglen Wealth’s offering for clients to include comprehensive Financial Planning and retirement planning, alongside its core wealth and investment management services.

Homebuyer’s services include pensions, investments, protection, and mortgage advice for a diverse range of clients, many of which are longstanding.

As part of the transaction, Michael Barney, managing director of Homebuyer, and Marzena Dziewulska, director and partner, will act in an advisory capacity for a transitionary period. All other Homebuyer staff will continue to be employed by the business, to provide service continuity for clients.

Its subsidiary Oakglen Wealth provides traditional discretionary and advisory investment management services to private individuals and their families, intermediaries and charities.
