Old Mutual hires ex-Legal & General director
Old Mutual International has boosted its leadership team by snapping up a director from Legal & General Investment Management.
Karen Blatchford has become the new head of international marketing after joining from LGIM where she was sales and marketing director and was responsible for the retail investment proposition.
She has worked at Legal & General for a number of years in a variety of marketing leadership roles.
In her new role Ms Blatchford will be responsible for leading the Old Mutual International marketing team, and will develop the opportunities within its vertically integrated model.
She will also help lead the cohesion with Quilter Cheviot and Old Mutual Global Investors to develop the investment solutions available to international advisers and customers, and focus on building its footprint in its core international markets.
Ms Blatchford will report directly to Michelle Andrews, the marketing director for Old Mutual Wealth.
