Quilter has today confirmed the rebrand of its national Financial Planning business, Old Mutual Wealth, to Quilter Private Client Advisers.

The rebrand from Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers followed the renaming of its parent company to Quilter plc.

Quilter separated from Old Mutual in June 2018 and listed on the London and Johannesburg stock exchanges.

Quilter Private Client Advisers was created in 2015 and has established a national presence through a series of acquisitions and organic recruitment growth, and now has six regional hubs in Devon, Cumbria, Chester, London, Yorkshire and Birmingham.

Across the six regions the company is responsible for advising more than 5,600 households across the UK.

Quilter Private Client Advisers was established to serve affluent and high net worth individuals and over a third (38%) of its clients have in excess of £1m in personal wealth with the national financial advisory business.

In 2018, Quilter Private Client Advisers has acquired Wiltshire-based A&M Financial Services, Scotland-based DG Pryde and the Carlisle-based advisory arm of Saint & Co.

These acquisitions added around £340m of assets under management to the firm’s national Financial Planning business.
